7-29 WOD

Postby Jester06 » Thu Jul 29, 2010 4:32 pm

Did active recovery yesterday, because I had a lot of stuff going on.
2 x 1000y Swim w/fins and mask CSS - 16:14/16:04 - rest 5m
1.5 hrs of pool work (mask clearance, bouncing, treading, underwater swims, ect.)

Today
1. 10 x 100y sprints

2. 5rds: 10 DL (215), 10 lateral jump over bar burpees - 10:05
5rds: 10 PC (135), 10 pushups - 9:49

3. 100 4cts, leg levers, good mornings

Notes - During work cap, the football team kept talking to me, so my time was slower than should have been.

nice WOD bro! you gotta just shut people out if you're doing something for time. like monday while rowing the 2K, a couple solicitors came in the gym and were trying to get my attention by saying "hey, hey there, hey buddy!"....but I had to shut them out and keep rowing, they eventually left, LOL.

Haha, I agree, I should have shut them out, but SEALFit is a cool thing to watch. This made them all ask questions, and I think they were in awe that someone actually works harder then a high school football player.

Hahaha, I always get frustrated when I'm trying to get through a workout, especially a work capacity portion, and people want to stop to talk. XD

I worked an overnight shift last night, got some sleep in the day, and am work again this evening so I only had a couple hours of free time, which I made use of by doing a quick hike.

Completed 2.1 miles. A lot of the trails follow the contours of the mountain, but there's several spots with pretty decent inclines that I just pound out. Still need to purchase a rucksack, however. I think I would get more out of hikes with one.
